This Privacy Policy explains how FoxTele collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit foxtele.uk, submit an order or enquiry, or contact our support team. It also explains your rights under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable UK data-protection law, as amended.
1. Who we are
This policy applies to FoxTele and the website foxtele.uk. For the personal information described in this policy, FoxTele determines why and how that information is used.
You can contact FoxTele about privacy or the service by email at support@foxtele.uk or on WhatsApp at +1 (450) 485 2195.
2. Information we may collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the website and communicate with us. It may include:
- Identity and contact information: your name, email address and WhatsApp or telephone number.
- Order information: the subscription plan requested, plan price, whether the request is for a new subscription or renewal, device information and preferred payment method.
- Enquiry and support information: your subject, message, support history and communications sent by email, website form or WhatsApp.
- Service information: the setup or account information needed to provide and support your subscription.
- Technical and security information: information normally recorded when a website or form is used, such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, timestamps, server logs and form-security data.
- Cookie or similar-technology information: only as described in the cookies section below.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, security codes or other unnecessary sensitive information through a contact form, email or WhatsApp.
3. How we collect information
We collect information when you submit an order request or contact form, contact us directly by email or WhatsApp, ask for support, or otherwise provide information while using the service. We also receive limited technical information through the normal operation and security of the website.
The order page may contact an IP geolocation service to help preselect telephone country information. That provider receives the technical data needed to answer the request, which may include your IP address. Choosing WhatsApp also means that WhatsApp processes your communications under its own terms and privacy information.
4. How and why we use information
FoxTele may use relevant personal information to:
- review and process subscription requests and orders;
- confirm payment and provide service access, setup details and support;
- respond to questions, refund requests and other communications;
- maintain, troubleshoot and secure the website and service;
- prevent or investigate fraud, misuse and security incidents;
- keep appropriate business, support and transaction records;
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
- understand and improve the service where this can be done lawfully and proportionately.
5. Lawful bases
Under UK data-protection law, FoxTele must have a lawful basis for each use of personal information. Depending on the circumstances, we rely on:
- Contract: where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to provide and support a subscription you have purchased.
- Legitimate interests: where reasonably necessary to operate, improve and protect the website and service, answer enquiries, keep proportionate records and prevent misuse, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: where information must be processed or retained to comply with applicable law.
- Consent: where we specifically ask for it, such as for optional non-essential cookies or communications for which consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time, although this does not make earlier processing unlawful.
If information requested in an order form is necessary to review or fulfil the request, we may be unable to process the order without it. Optional fields can be left blank.
6. Payment information
The current FoxTele website order form records an order request and your preferred payment method; it is not an on-site card-payment form. After reviewing an order request, FoxTele provides the relevant payment instructions. A payment provider may therefore process payment and account information under its own privacy terms.
FoxTele may receive information such as a payment confirmation, status, amount, date and transaction reference where needed to fulfil the order or deal with a refund. The website order form does not ask for or store your full payment-card number or card security code.
7. Data sharing
FoxTele does not sell personal information. We may share only the information reasonably necessary with categories of recipients such as:
- website hosting, infrastructure, maintenance and security providers;
- email, WhatsApp and other communications providers you choose to use;
- payment providers used to complete or refund a transaction;
- professional advisers where advice is necessary; and
- courts, law-enforcement, regulators or other authorities where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect legal rights.
Service providers should use personal information only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate contractual or legal duties.
8. International data transfers
Some website, communications, infrastructure or payment providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection rules on restricted transfers apply, FoxTele will take the steps required for the transfer, which may include using a destination covered by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards. The exact location and safeguard can depend on the provider used for a particular interaction.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In deciding how long to retain it, we consider the duration of the customer relationship, support needs, transaction and accounting records, fraud and security requirements, applicable limitation periods, legal duties and whether the information remains necessary. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted, anonymised or securely isolated where immediate deletion is not practicable.
10. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
- ask for access to your personal information and a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to erase personal information;
- ask us to restrict how information is used;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
- receive certain information in a portable format where the right applies; and
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise a right, email support@foxtele.uk. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and understand the request. We will respond in accordance with the time limits and exceptions in applicable law.
If you have a data-protection concern, please contact us first so we can investigate it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
At the date of this policy, FoxTele's public pages do not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. WordPress and essential website functionality may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage in limited contexts, such as security, session or administrative functions. These technologies are used only where needed to provide or protect the website.
If FoxTele introduces optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, we will update the information provided and request consent where required before using them. Third-party sites opened from our links, including WhatsApp or a payment provider, control their own cookies and technologies.
12. Security
FoxTele uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access should be limited to those who need the information for a legitimate purpose. No website, transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when sending information online.
13. Children's information
FoxTele's subscription service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly ask children to purchase subscriptions. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, our processing or applicable law. The date at the top of the page will show when this policy was last revised. Material changes will be presented appropriately on the website.
